Lucid Dreaming Practice Group
A small monthly gathering to focus on lucid dreaming practice
Explore infinite possibilities
Lucid dreaming is a natural, alternate state of consciousness that is rich with possibility. Contrary to common belief, it isn’t about reaching an endpoint, but about developing an ongoing relationship with awareness across dreaming and waking states. With the right tools and mindset, lucid dreaming is far more accessible than most people realize. Practicing alongside others makes the learning process easier, more inspiring, and far less driven by guesswork than going it alone.
Who's it for: This group is for dedicated oneironauts who want to deepen their experience through shared inquiry and guidance. Our group is appropriate for seasoned lucid dreamers and beginners, as long as you wish to engage in a regular, shared practice of lucid dreaming.
Format: We meet monthly to discuss our practice, strengthen induction skills, and explore creative and spiritual applications. The group is intentionally kept small to support meaningful conversation and personalized attention. Replays are available for six days after each meeting.
Schedule: Meetings last an hour are typically scheduled the first week of the month. Sessions alternate between Thursdays (430pm Pacific) and Saturdays (10am Pacific) to support attendance.
Start Date: Ongoing. Please activate your membership at least 48 hours before a session to ensure you receive the Zoom invitation on time.
Included Bonus Access: Membership includes optional access to the Mindful Lucid Dreaming Self-Study Course, recently updated for a smoother, more modern learning experience. This resource aims to support your personal practice and group participation.

Meet your facilitator and coach
Kristen LaMarca, PhD, DBSM
Kristen has spent over two decades exploring the science and practice of lucid dreaming. Since 2010, she has collaborated with Lucidity Institute, co-teaching intensive retreats and conducting scientific studies with Stephen LaBerge. As a psychologist with expertise in behavioral sleep medicine, she integrates lucid dreaming into psychotherapy and nightmare treatment, emphasizing creativity and connection rather than controlling your dreams.
With extensive experience facilitating a wide range of group formats, Kristen's style balances structure with openness, creating a supportive container that allows participants to explore what works best for them. She draws on established models from science, psychology, and contemplative wisdom to help your practice deepen naturally over time.
Her work has been featured in major media outlets such as USA Today, British Vogue, Engadget, and NPR’s KPBS. She is also the author of Learn to Lucid Dream, a modern guide to inducing and benefiting from lucid dreaming.

Frequently asked questions
What size is the group?
An ideal meeting size is 5-10 people. If interest exceeds that range, additional meeting times or topic-specific groups may be offered to preserve the quality of discussion.
Can meeting times change?
We aim to meet consistently at the scheduled times. Occasionally, unforeseen conflicts may require a date or time adjustment, which will be communicated in advance as much as possible.
What if I miss a session?
It’s okay to miss a meeting. Replays are available for approximately 6 days post-meeting to help you stay connected and oriented to the group’s rhythm.
Live attendance is encouraged whenever possible, as the group experience unfolds through shared presence.
What is your refund / cancellation policy?
Membership is billed monthly and is non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to stop future charges, and you’ll retain access through the end of your current billing period.
I don’t always lucid dream. Is this group for me?
Yes. Periods of low dream recall, absence of lucid dreaming, or transient life circumstances that draw your attention elsewhere are normal and expected. You can also attend even if you've never had a lucid dream before. This group supports the process of practice, not performance or specific outcomes.
How do I access the replay?
It will be forwarded to current members shortly after the meeting. It is automatically deleted after six days.
Can this group help my mental health problem?
This group is designed to help people learn to induce lucid dreaming or explore creative or spiritual applications. It is not appropriate for addressing a mental health disorder.
